Truth. Justice. Minesweeper.

On his way out, Greyghost said, "I left the grappling-hook gun attached to the radio tower on the TrackYon building. Could you retrieve it?"

"No," I said.

He stopped and turned to face me.

"I'm not going up there. Are you crazy?"

"Your job--"

"My job is to take care of the mundane details so you can concentrate on the crimefighting. There's nothing mundane about sneaking past two security posts and clambering around on the roof of an eighty-story building during a rainstorm. It's dangerous. I don't care if you fire me, I'm not going up there."

"If you don't want to do it, we can ask Cassie. It'd be easy for her. She's so sparkly she'd attract attention, but it's the safest way."

He turned and stalked out.
