Truth. Justice. Minesweeper.

This actually seems to be working. Which means it's the only thing that isn't pissing me off at the moment.

Okay, so the girl in the back wakes up. Greyghost sets up a confab with her in the blue room. Perseid and I are also in attendance. I have my trusty notepad.

"You're safe here," Greyghost said. "You were a captive in James Redburn's house; I found you there and brought you here. Are you all right?"

"Yes, thank you. I'm fine. I'm a little hungry," she said. No wonder; she must have been out for days. If it was me, I'd be gnawing on the Formica by now. Greyghost nodded at me and I got up to find her something in the fridge.

"I'm Greyghost and this is Perseid. Who are you?"

"I am Princess Moon-Sabrique, heir to the royal house of Sigilblithe of the Kingdom of Lortraiea, and I've come to your world to find a warrior who can save my father's throne from Baron Spinbryony." I slid a bag of potato chips toward her.

"Is this the kind of information you were hoping to learn from her?" I asked Greyghost.

He ignored me. "How does this connect with Redburn?"

She shook her head. "I don't know this James Redburn. I don't understand what you're telling me about him."

"Mm. What do you remember since you've... come to this world?"

"Well, I..." She shook her head, slowly. "I don't know."

Greyghost sat back. "Mm."

"I've come to this world looking for help. You are a warrior?"

"Of sorts. I don't think I'm the aid you're looking for, though."

"You have to, though!" she said, and brought her hands together.

There was a flash of light, and the four of us were sprawling on a grassy hillside. Nearby was a tree with bunches of grapes hanging from it. A couple of blue bumblebees were servicing the flowers, and I could see a castle on a bluff just across the way.

We eventually got more of an explanation, but it's going to take a while to type up, and my fingers get cramped on this little super-PDA-remote-unit thing Itzhak made me. I think I can post this, and e-mail Cruickshank telling him what the hell is going on, but I've got enough problems at the moment without worrying about carpal tunnel.
